CRM solutions are meant to manage and create data about your customers. The supposition is that the system will allow your company to collect and use data about sales activities and other actions to manage the customer accounts better and more profitably. But, who is the customer for such soluions? Is the customer the sales management, or the sales people themselves?
A lot of companies lose site of this basic fact: if the sales person who enters the data is not thought of as the customer, the CRM system will fail. The CRM solution must help them do their job better and make more sails to be used.
I invite you you watch a recent webinar in which these issues were discussed for further information. There were over 450 people participating and asking questions of me and CRM system designers. I think you will find this interesting. The message below contains the link to register and watch this webinar at your convenience.
